After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Leizarraga Urbieta managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Kiwy Mecanico's supporters rose to their feet, but Leizarraga Urbieta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Barrett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Davies in the 18th minute of play forced El Kiwy Mecanico's goalkeeper Hermelando Rey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hermelando Rey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanley Wallace in the 20th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Lochlan Newman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The El Kiwy Mecanico fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when El Kiwy Mecanico's Xabel Gandia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to El Kiwy Mecanico getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Jokin Castelao hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Harvey Doyle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Curacao booed when El Kiwy Mecanico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leizarraga Urbieta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kyle Davies blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hermelando Rey having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xabel Gandia in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Barrett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half El Kiwy Mecanico were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xabel Gandia was the one to do the kick off. Xabel Gandia kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 71stth minute. Though ot was a great shot Curacao's keeper Bruno Barrett was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Julen Balcells struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Bruno Barrett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Kiwy Mecanico. In the 76th match minute, El Kiwy Mecanico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leizarraga Urbieta to maneuver through the defense. Kyle Davies sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xabel Gandia in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Barrett saved Curacao from getting behind. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when El Kiwy Mecanico's Leizarraga Urbieta in the 85th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Bruno Barrett was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Curacao through an amazing save. Xabel Gandia kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 86thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Curacao's keeper Bruno Barrett was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 88th minute, Charles Cox hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Curacao's Stanley Wallace got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 93 minutes into the match, Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xabel Gandia. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. El Kiwy Mecanico walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
