With a little luck, Bayern Lessa - u21's Ronaldinho de Almeida got control of the ball when Hector Covarrubias tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bayern Lessa - u21's Benjamin Dias managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jose Sanz in the 28 minute of the game. Hector Covarrubias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Bayern Lessa - u21 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diamantino Gerber didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronaldinho de Almeida was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Jaime Pardo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jaime Pardo really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. A sloppy throw-in by Marcus Carioca in the 41st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Paraguay's Jose Sanz. After having played for 44 minutes, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Pardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 45 minutes, Benjamin Dias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bayern Lessa - u21 and the Paraguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bayern Lessa - u21 getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Benjamin Dias hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Pardo was the one to do the kick off. Primitivo Escribano charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Primitivo Escribano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 53rd minute, Primitivo Escribano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute, Hector Covarrubias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronaldinho de Almeida was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Covarrubias in the 60th minute of play forced Bayern Lessa - u21's goalkeeper Ronaldinho de Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paraguay's Jaime Pardo got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th minute Jaime Pardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldinho de Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Diego Tenorio hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, Bayern Lessa - u21's Benjamin Dias dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-2. After a rather tough play, Bayern Lessa - u21's Leopoldo Xavier got a free kick in the 75th minute. Jose Sanz made in the 79th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Bayern Lessa - u21's Benjamin Dias. Hector Covarrubias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Pardo in the 93rd minute of play forced Bayern Lessa - u21's goalkeeper Ronaldinho de Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Paraguay players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
