Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joel Gaona kicked off to start the match. In the 9th match minute, All Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Aguirre to maneuver through the defense. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto Tafalla in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauro Montay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mauro Montay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Mauro Montay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the game, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mauro Montay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Lautaro Mancebo scored 0-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mauro Montay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 29 minutes into the match, All Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Mauro Montay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner went over the outstretched arms of All Boys's goalie and right to Alberto Tafalla. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. All Boys's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 37th minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Montay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to All Boys getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Filomeno Maule hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the match, All Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Mauro Montay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The All Boys players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Serafin Toribio to make the kick off. With a little luck, All Boys's Mauro Montay got control of the ball when Alberto Tafalla tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 57th minute of play forced All Boys's goalkeeper Mauro Montay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Mauro Montay in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 63rd minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Montay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauro Montay made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. In the 75th minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mauro Montay saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Braulio Azevedo fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored All Boys's protests and gave Braulio Azevedo a yellow card for diving instead. After 78 played minutes All Boys got a freekick which was hit by Braulio Azevedo. 79 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of All Boys's Mauro Montay. Mauro Montay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 82 played minutes All Boys got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Maule. In the 86th minute, Mexico's Facundo Cadaval ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mauro Montay. Mauro Montay yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Alberto Tafalla took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mauro Montay. Mauro Montay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Mauro Montay was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alberto Tafalla showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 95 minute of play. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
