In the 8th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Eguzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michal Stehno got free with Rolando Noboa in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Rolando Noboa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 13 minutes into the match, Unidad de Matanza's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Jonatan Eguzki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Nestor Bâru came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Unidad de Matanza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nestor Bâru couldn't finish the play. Peru made a substitution. After having played for 96 minutes, Rafael Gallo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Gallo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Peru players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Unidad de Matanza.
