The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Colombia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Osvaldo Shantala scored to the left of an out of position Pedro Manzanares, making the score, 1-0. In the 11th minute, Osvaldo Shantala reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pedro Manzanares. The goal made the score 2-0. 14 minutes into the match, Abram Sarmiento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emerson Leão. CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abram Sarmiento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Emerson Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santino Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Colombia's Kevin Mastache quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Inácio Bueno, made in the 18th minute of the game. CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Emerson Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 19th minute of play. Dawid Iwaszko hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Emerson Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Emerson Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santino Seco in the 23rd minute of play. Adriano de Brito scored 3-2 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Gustavo Gómez in the 45th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. Emerson Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Mastache in the 45th minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
