Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gabi Golanski started the match with the kick off. 7 minutes into the match, Defensores del Ángel Gris's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Nicolás DAndrea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Serafim Catranides hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, Defensores del Ángel Gris's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Nicolás DAndrea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Desiderio Macias thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Nicolás DAndrea, a very annoying self made goal in the 19th minute which led to 0-1. When Gabi Golanski came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Defensores del Ángel Gris fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabi Golanski couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute of the game Nicolas Silveira made a throw-in which Eleuterio Estebano played forward. If Eleuterio Estebano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 34th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. Clemente Gorbea missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 37 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Jonathan Ferrant right hand side. The supporters of Defensores del Ángel Gris booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Eleuterio Chabier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eleuterio Chabier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 66th minute Serafim Catranides shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Clemente Gorbea was slow to take the kick. During this time Defensores del Ángel Gris's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Clemente Gorbea almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. Nicolás DAndrea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Defensores del Ángel Gris getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Nicolas Silveira hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute of the match Tomas Illescas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicolás DAndrea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eleuterio Chabier in the 81st minute of play. Nicolás DAndrea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 84th minute of play. In the 89th minute Gabi Golanski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patricio Costa's late challenge caught a Defensores del Ángel Gris's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Costa helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. Despite being the better team, Defensores del Ángel Gris failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
