Romando Futebol Clube's Adriano Luz got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexandre Luz spun around in front of the goal 27 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Jamaica's goal. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastião Barbosa in the 30th minute of play. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugênio Paranaense, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute, Leron Sale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Demonde Jacobson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luizinho Santos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 77 minute of play. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Luz in the 80th minute of play. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
