The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Wilton Dracena successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Granados in the 27th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilton Dracena. Wilton Dracena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The supporters of Cambrian Mountains booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Cazalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafli Hamzah, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Bohlin in the 40th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Syvwlch Lloyd in the 46th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Syvwlch Lloyd to make the kick off. Lautaro Mancebo kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Cambrian Mountains's Marcelino Granados ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Syvwlch Lloyd in the 66th minute. Syvwlch Lloyd's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dante Lacasa firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cambrian Mountains's Wilton Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 78th minute of play. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilton Dracena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Wilton Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 87th minute of play.
