An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Shantala in the 7th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Gustavo Gómez got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 32nd minute Osvaldo Shantala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37thth minute of the game Osvaldo Shantala who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mexico! Sydney Quirino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Lacasa having to make a save. When Lorenzo Cazalla fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mexico's protests and gave Lorenzo Cazalla a yellow card for diving instead. 47 minutes into the game, one of Mexico:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dante Lacasa had in the 49thth minute some difficulties stopping Sydney Quirino's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. Emerson Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 55th minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Joel Gaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emerson Leão was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Emerson Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 65 minutes into the match, CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Emerson Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sydney Quirino kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Nilmar Cearense was substituted for Sydney Quirino. Emerson Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 79th minute of play. CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ made a substitution. Eurico Proença replaced Inácio Bueno. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilmar Cearense in the 90th minute of play. Emerson Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 91st minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
