In the 38thth minute of the game Cazimir Pătran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 40th minute, Cazimir Pătran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmundo Espiga to strike the kick off in the second half. Damian Şerb's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damian Şerb helped the player get up and apologised.
