In the 90thth minute of the game Gil Seixas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Gil Seixas came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Wellington Aparecido had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wellington Aparecido was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. The MILAN F C players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
