Norbert Pataki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Venezuela's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ferdinando Galván 18 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinando Galván in the 23rd minute of play. When Rigoberto Mina fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Rigoberto Mina a yellow card for diving instead. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norbert Pataki, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Ferdinando Galván scored 3-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ferdinando Galván in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Milosz Sowa sent off a good shot on target. In the 44th minute, Ferdinando Galván fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jonathan Ferrant, passed just outside the right post. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ftc05's Norbert Pataki got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Milosz Sowa came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norbert Pataki struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ftc05. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Sebestyén Mészáros made a huge save. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milosz Sowa in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of Ftc05 booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Tibor Bender ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. 91 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sebestyén Mészáros. Tomas Illescas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-2. 95 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Norbert Pataki came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
