Lando Norris charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lando Norris the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 3 played minutes Jundiaí -DMZ- got a freekick which was hit by Lando Norris. After 4 played minutes, Honduras's Milagros Cabal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Júnior Tasso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Honduras reached it. In the 8th minute of the game Rubens Barrichello made a throw-in which Franklin Gaspar played forward. In the 14th minute, Rômulo Pena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Moises Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Jundiaí -DMZ- booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 27th minute of play forced Jundiaí -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Júnior Tasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Dráusio Moura made the kick off in the second half. A throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game was made by Erasmo Faria with Franklin Gaspar as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Dráusio Moura struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jundiaí -DMZ-. Erasmo Faria got a throw-in 60 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Franklin Gaspar. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Christian Sancho got a free kick in the 65th minute. Jundiaí -DMZ- made a substitution. Conrado Gerber replaced Rubens Barrichello. After a defensive mix-up in Jundiaí -DMZ-'s zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Júnior Tasso came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilson Meireles, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Milagros Cabal hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. If Dráusio Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The throw-in from Franklin Gaspar in the 86th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. Júnior Tasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Valentín Carvallo hit a great ball. Dráusio Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The throw-in from Franklin Gaspar in the 94th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Jundiaí -DMZ- were victorious despite being under pressure from Honduras for much of the match.
