To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Paraguay defense, Erez Negrini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. The Paraguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Nores should have stopped the shot. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urtzi Zamorano in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute Bilbo Bermudez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alan Campos during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Spor Las Huevas booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Campos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Urtzi Zamorano took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacobo Nores. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Caio Hornilla put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Jacobo Nores.
