Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hugo Frasco took the kick off in the first half of the match. Hugo Frasco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. 7 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Ospina narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cirilo Claris during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cirilo Claris kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Numbers Alex stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Numbers Alex tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of León FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Costa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Ospina having to make a save. In the 20th minute Hugo Frasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Numbers Alex showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 30 minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Hugo Frasco lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Jonathan Ferrant. León FC's David Ospina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 37th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Ospina was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. David Ospina didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raimundo Larra during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, León FC's Raimundo Larra got a free kick in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Camilo Abella cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. David Ospina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 61st minute. Witold Domeradzki might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Witold Domeradzki ran back to his position shaking his head. León FC made a substitution. Sasho Moco replaced Benicio Onbera. 71 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Numbers Alex came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Alex Chicote was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave León FC the free kick. The supporters of León FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute, Ladislao Primo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Witold Domeradzki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. In the 86th minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Ospina. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Camilo Abella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Filiberto Checa came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. León FC fully deserved thier win.
