Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grzegorz Szamotulski having to interfere. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaias Oso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grzegorz Szamotulski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 20th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gunnar Deisler in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 26 minutes, Gunnar Deisler made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wagner Kill in the 29th minute. Grzegorz Szamotulski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wagner Kill in the 33rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wagner Kill got free with Dante Lacasa in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Luca Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luca Zorita couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Grzegorz Szamotulski came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Diablofaryd F.C.'s goalkeeper Grzegorz Szamotulski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gunnar Deisler, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Grzegorz Szamotulski came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Alberto Tafalla. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Grzegorz Szamotulski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. With a little luck, Diablofaryd F.C.'s Grzegorz Szamotulski got control of the ball when Alberto Tafalla tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 65 played minutes Diablofaryd F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ozzy Osbourne. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
