The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaime Pardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Silas Caro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Silas Caro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 60 minutes into the match, Felicio EC's Silas Caro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacobo Nores narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Silas Caro notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Paraguay's Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gaston Kinsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. In the 69th minute Silas Caro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manfredo Tepedino kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 80th minute of the match, Jaime Pardo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lambis Kastanas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Felicio EC's Lambis Kastanas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Felicio EC from getting a goal against them. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Felicio EC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaime Pardo was slow to take the kick. Paraguay were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
