In the 21st minute Lucrețiu Giosu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Zorita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jaromír Mauer went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Marco Tamayo hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Moises Fernandino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Moises Fernandino kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The supporters of Maylandseasky booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Fernandino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Moises Fernandino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Hafriz Seah made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Maylandseasky's zone, Moises Fernandino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hafriz Seah came out of the goal and Moises Fernandino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marco Tamayo kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Lucrețiu Giosu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardo Zorita having to make a save. Steven Teo hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute of the match, Moises Fernandino got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hafriz Seah was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Moises Fernandino made a kick off. Moises Fernandino took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hafriz Seah. Hafriz Seah dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Jesus Carvallo got a free kick in the 54th minute. When Moises Fernandino came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the El Salvador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Fernandino couldn't finish the play. 63 minutes into the match, Maylandseasky's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Fernandino came free, but Hafriz Seah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucrețiu Giosu kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. If Moises Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ricardo Zorita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucrețiu Giosu in the 68th minute. After some careless play in the Maylandseasky defense, Moises Fernandino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hafriz Seah. The Maylandseasky fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hafriz Seah should have stopped the shot. 74 minutes into the match, Maylandseasky's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Luque came free, but Hafriz Seah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaromír Mauer, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. El Salvador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Lucrețiu Giosu scored to the left of an out of position Ricardo Zorita, making the score, 3-2. Lucrețiu Giosu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Ricardo Zorita when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Valentino Ferrant kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. El Salvador had won after a very even match.
