Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Pierce Wrigley came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 3rd minute, Luis Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the game, Olgierd Brack was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hunting High & Low..'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Isidoro Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. In the 12th minute Hunting High & Low.. were awarded a corner. Isidoro Azevedo went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Billy Larsfelt got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 16th minute of play forced Hunting High & Low..'s goalkeeper Ian Power to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Isidoro Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ian Power showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Azevedo in the 21st minute. After 23 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Isidoro Azevedo who took care of the corner kick. Hunting High & Low..'s Conan Seward was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Ian Power took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ian Power dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hunting High & Low..'s goalkeeper Ian Power, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Azevedo in the 37th minute of play. Ian Power made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidoro Azevedo. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Isidoro Azevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Conan Seward hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 46 minutes in the game Camilo Gisbert did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Cristian Sancho. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ian Power in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isidoro Azevedo made a kick off. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Agustín Saelices kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ian Power. That made the score 1-2 in the 66 minute of play. After some careless play in the Hunting High & Low.. defense, Felix Montenegro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ian Power. Agustín Saelices blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ian Power having to make a save. Ian Power made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Andino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ian Power breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 85 minutes into the match, Hunting High & Low..'s goalkeeper Ian Power had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. After 89 played minutes Hunting High & Low.. got a freekick which was hit by Billy Larsfelt. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador played a much better game than Hunting High & Low.. and deserved their victory. The Hunting High & Low.. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
