Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Unidad de Matanza's goalkeeper Jonatan Eguzki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eliseo Mina took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonatan Eguzki. Jonatan Eguzki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonatan Eguzki saved Unidad de Matanza from getting behind. In the 16th minute, Michal Stehno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Unidad de Matanza fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Joaquin Prats hit a great ball. Martin Grøtterud recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michal Stehno in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 24th minute of play forced Unidad de Matanza's goalkeeper Jonatan Eguzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Unidad de Matanza's Freddy Quintyn got a free kick in the 28th minute. Jonatan Eguzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 30th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Máximo Kirchner came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Grøtterud scored 1-2 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Noboa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Unidad de Matanza booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Alvarado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Grøtterud in the 44th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 52nd minute of play forced Unidad de Matanza's goalkeeper Jonatan Eguzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Máximo Kirchner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michal Stehno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Máximo Kirchner in the 61st minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonatan Eguzki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Jonatan Eguzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milagros Fraga in the 71st minute of the match. In the 77th minute Michal Stehno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Máximo Kirchner couldn't finish the play. Unidad de Matanza made a substitution. Lateef Raal replaced Máximo Kirchner. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Nestor Bâru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With his leg Rolando Noboa managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Unidad de Matanza's Nestor Bâru fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rafael Gallo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonatan Eguzki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Peru's Milagros Fraga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonatan Eguzki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2.
