Augusto Saldanha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Marco Day made a huge save. 21 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Velloso came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Monty Rogers came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the USA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Monty Rogers couldn't finish the play. Marco Day was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Augusto Saldanha showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. Gracie Barra's 周挺勇 quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Raphael Moore, made in the 33rd minute of the game. When USA's Cassius Byrne in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 56th minute Augusto Saldanha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Thiago Silvan came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Gracie Barra fans jumped to their feet. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Saldanha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cassius Byrne struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Falcão Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for USA. Gracie Barra made a substitution. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Gracie Barra were victorious despite being under pressure from USA for much of the match.
