Germano Vasconcelos hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 25 minutes of play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cafu Linares was left in no man's land by his defense there! The throw-in from Edgard Vasconcelos in the 29th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Mexico's Lorenzo Cazalla. In the 32nd minute there was a penalty for Mexico. Joel Gaona stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cafu Linares. 4-0. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a free kick in the 35th minute. After some careless play in the OTTO FC - FSCMZ defense, Lautaro Mancebo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cafu Linares. The OTTO FC - FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cafu Linares should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Mexico booed when OTTO FC - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Pinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 53rd minute of play forced OTTO FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Cafu Linares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 54 minutes, Dênis Prata mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the OTTO FC - FSCMZ and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dênis Prata kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 55 minutes into the game, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cafu Linares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Cafu Linares came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo. But to his dismay, Lautaro Mancebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. In the 95th minute, Facundo Cadaval had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manuel Pinho during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 96 played minutes OTTO FC - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Pinho. Joel Gaona took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cafu Linares. Cafu Linares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 14-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Mexico had played much better football throughout.
