The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 5 minutes into the match, Unidad de Matanza's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Jonatan Eguzki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonatan Eguzki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 14th minute of play. Jonatan Eguzki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Máximo Kirchner in the 17th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Máximo Kirchner had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Máximo Kirchner was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Robert Zemeckis was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 21 minutes into the match. Unidad de Matanza's Milton Rojas was substituted for Michal Stehno. 20 minutes into the game, one of Unidad de Matanza:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Unidad de Matanza:s Jonatan Eguzki showed great skill when he stopped Axel Montenegro:s penalty. Unidad de Matanza's Jonatan Eguzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joshua Garrido in the 27th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Máximo Kirchner in the 31st minute of the match. Jonatan Eguzki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Unidad de Matanza's Jonatan Eguzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 37th minute of play. The referee gave Colombia a penalty, 40 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Axel Montenegro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Unidad de Matanza's Jonatan Eguzki. 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Máximo Kirchner to make the kick off. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Grøtterud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Samuel Navarro hit a great ball. Unidad de Matanza's Nestor Bâru was substituted for Martin Grøtterud. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Samuel Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Unidad de Matanza's Nestor Bâru got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, Unidad de Matanza's Nestor Bâru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Bâru in the 87th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Bâru in the 88th minute of the match. In the 90th minute Nestor Bâru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lateef Raal came free in the 92nd minute and tried to tip the ball over Pedro Manzanares, but to the joy of Colombia's supporters the ball went over. In the 94thth minute of the game Ignacio Mastache who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Unidad de Matanza's Jonatan Eguzki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Unidad de Matanza's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
