Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alfred Hitchcock made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 3rd minute of play forced Brighton's goalkeeper Garry Vercauteren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Brighton getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. SK Ramachandran hit a great ball. Garry Vercauteren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Garry Vercauteren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute of play forced Brighton's goalkeeper Garry Vercauteren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonio Arias hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Garry Vercauteren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Garry Vercauteren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute of the match. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Hitchcock in the 24th minute of the match. Garry Vercauteren came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 31st minute of play forced Brighton's goalkeeper Garry Vercauteren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Luis Andino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Garry Vercauteren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Brighton's Garry Vercauteren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 42nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Brighton's Albert Pillai got a free kick in the 44th minute. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Garry Vercauteren having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 46th minute of play forced Brighton's goalkeeper Garry Vercauteren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Alfred Hitchcock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Garry Vercauteren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Brighton's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. 64 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Garry Vercauteren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Albert Lim came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Brighton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albert Lim couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Brighton's Garry Vercauteren got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Garry Vercauteren firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 88 minutes of play, Brighton's Albert Lim made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ecuador were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
