Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Unidad de Matanza's goalkeeper Jonatan Eguzki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Máximo Kirchner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonatan Eguzki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The supporters of Peru booed when Unidad de Matanza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michal Stehno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonatan Eguzki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Eguzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliseo Mina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jonatan Eguzki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Michal Stehno tried to sneak it across the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Michal Stehno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Máximo Kirchner came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unidad de Matanza's Lotfi Ziadi was substituted for Michal Stehno. 64 minutes in the game Alonso Berganza did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Moises Gayoso. Jonatan Eguzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Mina in the 67th minute of the match. Alonso Berganza made in the 75th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Moises Gayoso immediately put the ball in play. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Bâru, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Peru's Alonso Berganza quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Freddy Quintyn, made in the 92nd minute of the game. Unidad de Matanza's Jonatan Eguzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Gallo in the 92nd minute of play. Jonatan Eguzki came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Rafael Gallo. But to his dismay, Rafael Gallo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Peru eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
