In the 5th minute, Gracie Barra's Augusto Saldanha ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marco Day. Marco Day yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, 周挺勇 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gracie Barra's supporters rose to their feet, but 周挺勇 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Falcão Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 11th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Gracie Barra's Augusto Saldanha slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marco Day. That made the score 2-0 after 17 minutes of play. Falcão Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 24th minute of the match. Cassius Byrne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Saldanha in the 32nd minute of play. Falcão Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Saldanha in the 42nd minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Cassius Byrne's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Falcão Cunha firmly grabbed it by the left post. Gracie Barra's Pedro Velloso got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cassius Byrne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Falcão Cunha having to interfere. Augusto Saldanha struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Marco Day didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gracie Barra. Gracie Barra's Falcão Cunha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Gracie Barra from getting a goal against them. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. Gracie Barra made a substitution. Hugo de Queirós replaced Jamey Hankins. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gracie Barra's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Monty Rogers was slow to take the kick. During this time USA's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to USA's Jacob May getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. A throw-in in the 76th minute of the game was made by Raphael Moore with Sam Campbell as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 77th minute Jago Štriker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by USA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Şamil Sağman was slow to take the kick. During this time Gracie Barra's players had a chance to rest. 81 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Jago Štriker came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel de Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Gracie Barra's Falcão Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khalid Parry in the 89th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel de Lara in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel de Lara in the 96th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Gracie Barra players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
