Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Espiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Edmundo Espiga put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Valmir Fahl. Perivaldo Coutinho made in the 91st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. After some careless play in the cavine-- f.c. defense, Sebastian Villa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valmir Fahl. The cavine-- f.c. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valmir Fahl should have stopped the shot. The cavine-- f.c. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Honduras were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
