Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Begu Ganjang's Anak Selby. But to his dismay, Anak Selby quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Begu Ganjang's Tạ I proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Begu Ganjang from getting a goal against them. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Tạ I didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. 32 minutes into the game, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tạ I made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The supporters of Begu Ganjang booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Cazalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Tạ I in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anak Selby stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anak Selby went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Anak Selby stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Anak Selby tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tạ I took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tạ I made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 62nd minute of play. Begu Ganjang's Tạ I played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 65th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Begu Ganjang's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tạ I came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Alberto Tafalla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tạ I was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. 71 minutes into the match, Begu Ganjang's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Tạ I reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Begu Ganjang's Tạ I. Tạ I was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anak Selby in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anak Selby's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Begu Ganjang's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Tạ I reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anak Selby in the 88th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Begu Ganjang had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
