An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 3rd minute of play forced Gracie Barra's goalkeeper Falcão Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Falcão Cunha saved Gracie Barra from getting behind. 6 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Velloso came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gracie Barra's goalkeeper Falcão Cunha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 11 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Falcão Cunha was left in no man's land by his defense there! Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Gracie Barra were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Peru's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Şamil Sağman took the corner. Falcão Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augusto Saldanha received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rolando Noboa came out and tried to block the shot, but Augusto Saldanha slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 34th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Roland Danielsson in the 36th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. In the 46th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedro Velloso to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Efraim Gilabert. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Falcão Cunha made a huge save. Julian Murillo in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Falcão Cunha, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 57th minute, Augusto Saldanha made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Gracie Barra's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Falcão Cunha came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Anthony Alvarado hit a great ball. In the 65th minute Augusto Saldanha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Falcão Cunha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 67th minute. In the 79th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Falcão Cunha was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Gracie Barra's Jago Štriker was substituted for Pedro Velloso. Gracie Barra made a substitution. Hugo de Queirós replaced Jamey Hankins. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Peru had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
