With a little luck, ATHLETICO PRaiano's Rodriguinho Sousa got control of the ball when Rohan Watson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8th match minute, Canada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred John to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Canada's zone, Deilmison van Basten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jax Williamson came out of the goal and Deilmison van Basten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Deilmison van Basten got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 21 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when ATHLETICO PRaiano's Deilmison van Basten fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high.
