After 23 played minutes Tribos 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Bruninho Breckenfeld. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isidoro Sarmiento took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edvin van der Saar. Edvin van der Saar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcel Urbano's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcel Urbano helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 49th minute of play forced Tribos 4EVER's goalkeeper Edvin van der Saar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Panama were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gustavo Gol made a kick off. Miguel Miralles struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute Gustavo Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Panama's zone, Cristiano Faria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal and Cristiano Faria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61st minute, Dylan Sarmiento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicanor Elequemedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Tribos 4EVER's goalkeeper Edvin van der Saar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidoro Sarmiento. After having played for 64 minutes, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Tribos 4EVER's goalkeeper Edvin van der Saar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidoro Sarmiento. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Gol in the 73rd minute of the match. Isidoro Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Edvin van der Saar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 minutes, Bruninho Breckenfeld mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tribos 4EVER and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76th minute, Bruninho Breckenfeld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Barrios to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Tribos 4EVER's Iwo Kalak got a free kick in the 82nd minute. The throw-in from Jose Carita in the 84th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Tribos 4EVER's Adélio Pinhal. Jardel Messias hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Isidoro Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Isidoro Sarmiento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Panama left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tribos 4EVER.
