Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gustavo Gol got the match started through his kick off. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edvin van der Saar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 9th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristiano Faria got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 15th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvin van der Saar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Jardel Messias in the 19th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Uruguay's Arturo Carvallo. In the last second Joaquin Gayoso throw himself and got hold of the ball when Gustavo Gol in the 21stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Maximiliano Escribano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvin van der Saar having to interfere. In the 25th match minute, Tribos 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Faria to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joaquin Gayoso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gustavo Gol showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. In the 34th minute, Gustavo Gol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustavo Gol in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. 43 minutes into the match, Francisco Seco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edvin van der Saar. Tribos 4EVER's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francisco Seco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Seco was the one to do the kick off. Tribos 4EVER were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Uruguay's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nicanor Elequemedo took the corner. Ronaldo Saldanha kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Maximiliano Escribano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edvin van der Saar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Jardel Messias made in the 62nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Gol in the 63rd minute of play. After 68 minutes of play, Tribos 4EVER's Gustavo Gol made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 73rd minute Gustavo Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo Gol might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquin Gayoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustavo Gol ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 82nd minute, Arturo Carvallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Tribos 4EVER's zone, Francisco Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvin van der Saar came out of the goal and Francisco Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tribos 4EVER's Edvin van der Saar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Gisbert in the 89th minute of play. After 90 minutes Tribos 4EVER's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jaime Cazalla who took care of the corner kick. Gustavo Gol struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Joaquin Gayoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tribos 4EVER. Uruguay's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
