After a rather tough play, LA InDuStRiA INC's Benito Kimetz got a free kick in the 17th minute. Raimundo Obano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 17th minute of the match. After 19 minutes LA InDuStRiA INC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Raimundo Obano in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Saverio Reyes fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LA InDuStRiA INC's protests and gave Saverio Reyes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th match minute, LA InDuStRiA INC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saverio Reyes to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of LA InDuStRiA INC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Cristobal Lalla tried to sneak it across the goal line. LA InDuStRiA INC's Cristobal Lalla got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Cristobal Lalla took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raimundo Obano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 77th minute of play forced LA InDuStRiA INC's goalkeeper Raimundo Obano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Patricio Costa notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of LA InDuStRiA INC's Raimundo Obano. Raimundo Obano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Benito Kimetz fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LA InDuStRiA INC's protests and gave Benito Kimetz a yellow card for diving instead. Benito Kimetz hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristobal Lalla got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Ricardo Rencio fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LA InDuStRiA INC's protests and gave Ricardo Rencio a yellow card for diving instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. LA InDuStRiA INC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
