Jaime Pardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chadli Belfaa having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Roman Bojanowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Nores was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Chadli Belfaa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaime Pardo in the 30th minute. When Paraguay's Jaime Pardo in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Montgomery1960's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Montgomery1960's Brahim Amri got a free kick in the 38th minute. When Jaime Pardo came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Paraguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Pardo couldn't finish the play. Hector Covarrubias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Chadli Belfaa made a huge save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roman Bojanowski was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Guillen Menendez came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paraguay's Jaime Pardo got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 63 minutes, Guillen Menendez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montgomery1960's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillen Menendez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Montgomery1960 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Souad Barbarossa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute of the match Primitivo Escribano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Chadli Belfaa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 67th minute, Roman Bojanowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roman Bojanowski took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Montgomery1960's Roman Bojanowski got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Primitivo Escribano hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. If Jaime Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roman Bojanowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Guillen Menendez notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Paraguay's Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Escribano in the 94th minute of play forced Montgomery1960's goalkeeper Chadli Belfaa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Montgomery1960 were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Paraguay's much stronger midfield.
