Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Abelardo da Fonseca started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Alexsandro Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abelardo da Fonseca hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute, Cassius Byrne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 11th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murilo Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Buritama Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Murilo Ferreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 14th minute of play forced Buritama Sports's goalkeeper Murilo Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in USA's zone, Vito Senna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Day came out of the goal and Vito Senna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 31 minutes into the game, Buritama Sports's Alexsandro Aguiar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marco Day made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 37 minutes into the match, Abelardo da Fonseca notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of USA's Marco Day. Marco Day was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Buritama Sports's Wang Wei Sha got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cassius Byrne got free with Murilo Ferreira in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th minute Alexsandro Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilvan de Lara hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The USA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Buritama Sports were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cassius Byrne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Buritama Sports defense, Monty Rogers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Murilo Ferreira. The Buritama Sports fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Murilo Ferreira should have stopped the shot. Murilo Ferreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 63rd minute of play. If Alexsandro Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexsandro Aguiar got free with Marco Day in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 67 minutes of play, Buritama Sports's Alexsandro Aguiar made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Day was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 71st minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murilo Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. Murilo Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Alexsandro Aguiar did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-4 to the left of a surprised Marco Day 96 minutes into the match. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. Chants of Buritama Sports echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as USA had held the ball for most of the match.
