Remigio Joanes came out and tried to block the shot, but Isidoro Sarmiento slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 18th minute. Jonas Urbez's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonas Urbez helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Falckner FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Jonas Urbez hit a great ball. Isidoro Sarmiento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Remigio Joanes made a huge save. Cecilio Tano's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cecilio Tano helped the player get up and apologised. Cecilio Tano hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Falckner FC's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Panama. In the 67th minute Alfonso Lluis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
