The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mexico. 【№1】深圳之星⭐'s Arso Gachevski got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and 范伟希 could save by the left post. 范伟希 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 43rd minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Alberto Tafalla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 范伟希 was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Nikos Valassiou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mexico walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
