Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Victor Ortle took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 7thth minute of the game Victor Ortle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 15 minutes of play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Betinho Moura was left in no man's land by his defense there! C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Betinho Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 19th minute of play. After 37 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Carballo. C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Sid Lampard suffered a sore thigh after 38 minutes and couldn't finish the game. C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. made a substitution. Cleiton do Vale replaced Sid Lampard. Hugo Ferrant hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Yuri Bezerra from long distance, 40 minutes into the match, got Benito Sanz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. A collision led to C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C. getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Cleiton do Vale hit a great ball. When C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Victor Ortle in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Axel Tasis to strike the kick off in the second half. Betinho Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 78th minute of play. C.D PAVILHAO 9 F.C.'s Betinho Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 81st minute of play. Betinho Moura made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Puig in the 82nd minute. If Serginho Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Costa Rica supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Costa Rica would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
