But to his dismay, Friedrich Engels quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 14th minute, Nassim Mansouri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GoooooooooooooooooooooooL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Jamaall Padmore hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute Nassim Mansouri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nassim Mansouri in the 20th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Jarell Hill made a precise shot to the right of Abdellah Medjadi Guessoum. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 27th play minute Jarell Hill came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Abdellah Medjadi Guessoum. 2-2. After having played for 30 minutes, Jarell Hill managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jamaica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jarell Hill was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abdellah Medjadi Guessoum stood somewhat misplaced when Finlay Stair came free in front of goal and shot 3-2 to the left of him in the 32 minute. Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Friedrich Engels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juliusz Julø lost his temper 36 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Abdellah Medjadi Guessoum proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save GoooooooooooooooooooooooL from getting a goal against them. Jean-Baptiste Meskine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Demonde Jacobson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Finlay Stair was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of GoooooooooooooooooooooooL booed when Jamaica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karlus Waugh didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 52 played minutes GoooooooooooooooooooooooL got a freekick which was hit by Faouzi Hadjar. Abderrahmane Mekhloufi kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Demonde Jacobson made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Jean-Baptiste Meskine sent off a good shot on target. In the 61st minute, Jarell Hill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdellah Medjadi Guessoum didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karlus Waugh went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Baptiste Meskine in the 69th minute of the match. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nassim Mansouri in the 75th minute of play. Nassim Mansouri took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Demonde Jacobson. Demonde Jacobson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-3. Karlus Waugh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdellah Medjadi Guessoum having to interfere. Abdellah Medjadi Guessoum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Finlay Stair, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the game, Jamaica's Finlay Stair nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abdellah Medjadi Guessoum made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-3. After a rather tough play, GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Abdelaziz Achiu got a free kick in the 84th minute. Abdellah Medjadi Guessoum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Finlay Stair, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jamaall Padmore kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. When Romon Oliver came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Jamaica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romon Oliver couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the GoooooooooooooooooooooooL players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Jamaica.
