Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Isac Christoffersson kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the game, Jonathan Venegas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Kurdish Warriors the free kick. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sven-Arne Gustafsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niclas Hjälm, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. When Edvin Johnsson fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Kurdish Warriors's protests and gave Edvin Johnsson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Venezuela booed when FC Kurdish Warriors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edvin Johnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niclas Hjälm in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC Kurdish Warriors's Timmy Hasselqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wictor Hagström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 68 minutes into the match, FC Kurdish Warriors's goalkeeper Wictor Hagström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. After a rather tough play, FC Kurdish Warriors's Edvin Johnsson got a free kick in the 69th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wictor Hagström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wictor Hagström having to make a save. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niclas Hjälm in the 93rd minute of the match. Venezuela's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
