Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jonas Urbez took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got a free kick in the 2nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Urbez in the 6th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Lluis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Moruga to maneuver through the defense. Jonas Urbez came free with the goalkeeper in the 10th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Benito Sanz could save by the left post. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Jonas Urbez sent off a good shot on target. 22 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Dionisio Emesto came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute of the match, Alfonso Lluis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Benito Sanz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Alfonso Lluis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Tasis in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Remigio Joanes saved Falckner FC from getting behind. 35 minutes into the game, Falckner FC's Jonas Urbez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. Cecilio Tano hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Aaron Alcocer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Joanes having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

56 minutes into the match, Falckner FC's goalkeeper Remigio Joanes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Tasis. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Lluis in the 65th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Lluis came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Luis Filipo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Luis Filipo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eliseo Noboa hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abel Carballo during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Abel Carballo hit a great ball. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonas Urbez's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. 87 minutes into the game, Falckner FC's Ivan Reynardo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. If Alfonso Lluis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a free kick in the 91st minute. Jonas Urbez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Escobar in the 96th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Falckner FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
