Xalbador Navas ran back to his position shaking his head. Sanea Weerarak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Antonio Arias fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Antonio Arias a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. FC PROSPE were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
