Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edmundo Espiga got the match started through his kick off. The throw-in from Gaspar Precioso in the 4th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. 7 minutes into the match, Everardo Calvino notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 9th minute of the match Carlos Valderrama sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lautaro Navarro skillfully saved the ball. The throw-in from Siro Urki in the 11th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. Leo Messi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A throw-in in the 19th minute of the game was made by Siro Urki with Oscar Ruggeri as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Rodrigo De Paul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everardo Calvino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Everardo Calvino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leo Messi in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 33 minutes in the game Siro Urki did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Oscar Ruggeri. A collision led to PiCaNTeS FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Rodrigo De Paul hit a great ball. Moises Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Alfredo Otoniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Everardo Calvino took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Otoniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when Everardo Calvino made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Everardo Calvino. Everardo Calvino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Lautaro Navarro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. PiCaNTeS FC's Alfredo Otoniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Villa in the 55th minute of play. Everardo Calvino let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 56th minute shot 0-4 at rihgt post. Everardo Calvino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of PiCaNTeS FC booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Everardo Calvino came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the PiCaNTeS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Everardo Calvino couldn't finish the play. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Everardo Calvino put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Sixto Ignazio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Everardo Calvino came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the PiCaNTeS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Everardo Calvino couldn't finish the play. If Sixto Ignazio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oscar Ruggeri kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. PiCaNTeS FC's Alfredo Otoniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Sancho in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundo Espiga to maneuver through the defense. The PiCaNTeS FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing PiCaNTeS FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
