GUAYACO's Oso Amezaga. Oso Amezaga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Danilo Gerber in the 21st minute. The corner led ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Primitivo Tancredo to a score. 2-0 in the 21st minute. Yu Jian Tian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oso Amezaga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute Caicedo Berrondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelino Flor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yu Jian Tian scored 3-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oso Amezaga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sérgio Silveira in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelino Flor saved ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ from getting behind. Oso Amezaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yu Jian Tian in the 39th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Caicedo Berrondo to strike the kick off in the second half. Oso Amezaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yu Jian Tian in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wen Hai Le in the 56th minute of play forced C.A. GUAYACO's goalkeeper Oso Amezaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Erasmo Campidelis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ made a substitution. Teofilo Galtero replaced Danilo Gerber. Feliks Mnich took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Oso Amezaga. C.A. GUAYACO's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 72 minutes, Rodrigo Caborredondo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A. GUAYACO and the ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ booed when C.A. GUAYACO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Caborredondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oso Amezaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Sand in the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Sand in the 82nd minute of play forced C.A. GUAYACO's goalkeeper Oso Amezaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to C.A. GUAYACO getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Rodrigo Caborredondo hit a great ball. If José Sand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. GUAYACO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Sand was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
