Chucho Dean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Parisi Carretero in the 13th minute of play. Chucho Dean dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 42 minutes into the match, Parisi Carretero notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Astillero del Guayas's Chucho Dean. Chucho Dean was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 48th minute Carabalí Flamenco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chucho Dean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Parisi Carretero made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Guerrón Hubidia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cojiemies FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Astillero del Guayas the free kick. Cojiemies FC were furious when Guerrón Hubidia was red carded, 57 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 56th minute, one of Cojiemies FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cojiemies FC. Cojiemies FC:s Juan Pernau showed great skill when he stopped Gustavo Oro:s penalty. In the 63rd minute Paiva Escabi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Pernau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 65th play minutes Carabalí Flamenco shot 0-6, a short shot which went by Chucho Dean and just under the crossbar into goal. With a little luck, Astillero del Guayas's Chucho Dean got control of the ball when Vidal Ochari tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chucho Dean was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Urtzi Villafranca capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vidal Ochari kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Astillero del Guayas's goal looked a bit too open when Vidal Ochari came free, but Chucho Dean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Cojiemies FC's Vidal Ochari sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chucho Dean narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Garcia Jado during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Garcia Jado hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Zumar Cariton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cojiemies FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zumar Cariton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chucho Dean breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 90 played minutes Zumar Cariton rounded Astillero del Guayas's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-8. Vidal Ochari in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Chucho Dean, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 95 minutes into the game, Vidal Ochari recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Chucho Dean. Vidal Ochari showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. Cojiemies FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
