After a defensive mix-up in ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's zone, Sérgio Silveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelino Flor came out of the goal and Sérgio Silveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Marcelino Flor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 8 in the game by Sérgio Silveira from a close distance when the talented Marcelino Flor managed to make a qualified save. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's players were relieved. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Sand in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oso Amezaga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 11 minutes C.A. GUAYACO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Teofilo Galtero who took care of the corner kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, José Sand managed to get in a good position for a shot. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's supporters rose to their feet, but José Sand was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oso Amezaga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. C.A. GUAYACO's Oso Amezaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Sand in the 20th minute of play. Oso Amezaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Galtero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 30th minute of the game was made by Rodrigo Caborredondo with Caicedo Berrondo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. José Sand's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oso Amezaga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Oso Amezaga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Sand's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. After 40th play minutes José Sand shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Oso Amezaga and just under the crossbar into goal. Oso Amezaga came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's José Sand. But to his dismay, José Sand quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After the first half ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Yu Jian Tian was substituted for José Sand. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Caicedo Berrondo to make the kick off. Teofilo Galtero came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Oso Amezaga could save by the left post. In the 57th minute ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ were awarded a corner. Teofilo Galtero went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Teofilo Galtero got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Oso Amezaga quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Sérgio Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Lautaro Acosta was substituted for Teofilo Galtero. In the 64th minute Sérgio Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelino Flor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yu Jian Tian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yu Jian Tian in the 67th minute of play forced C.A. GUAYACO's goalkeeper Oso Amezaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to C.A. GUAYACO getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Rodrigo Caborredondo hit a great ball. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Ovidio Marin was substituted for Wen Hai Le. In the 70th minute, Rodrigo Caborredondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 73 minutes of play, ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Yu Jian Tian made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oso Amezaga was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Yu Jian Tian put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Oso Amezaga. Yu Jian Tian blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oso Amezaga having to make a save. In the 83rd minute Mendoza Joseph shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelino Flor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, C.A. GUAYACO's goal looked a bit too open when Yu Jian Tian came free, but Oso Amezaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Yu Jian Tian sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oso Amezaga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Yu Jian Tian struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Oso Amezaga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ. Agustin Pillado made in the 90th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Ovidio Marin. Oso Amezaga made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Yu Jian Tian sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, C.A. GUAYACO's Oso Amezaga got control of the ball when Yu Jian Tian tried to sneak it across the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Yu Jian Tian dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Oso Amezaga, 0-7. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by C.A. GUAYACO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ovidio Marin was slow to take the kick. During this time ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's players had a chance to rest. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
