Chucho Dean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Silviano in the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Astillero del Guayas's goalkeeper Chucho Dean had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wen Hai Le. In the 14th minute, Wen Hai Le ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chucho Dean was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 18th minute, Wen Hai Le made a precise shot to the right of Chucho Dean. Astillero del Guayas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. The supporters of ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ booed when Astillero del Guayas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Oro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorge Bojarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chucho Dean came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Marcial Silviano. But to his dismay, Marcial Silviano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. A hard shot 33 in the game by Wen Hai Le from a close distance when the talented Chucho Dean managed to make a qualified save. Astillero del Guayas's players were relieved. 34 minutes into the match, Marcial Silviano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chucho Dean. Astillero del Guayas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcial Silviano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. 37 minutes into the match, ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Wen Hai Le sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chucho Dean narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Castro Rilo charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Castro Rilo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Teofilo Galtero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chucho Dean didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 45th minute, which inside left pole to 7-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Garcia Jado made the kick off in the second half. Chucho Dean came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Wen Hai Le. But to his dismay, Wen Hai Le quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Marcial Silviano took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chucho Dean. Chucho Dean dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. 67 minutes into the game, ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Marcial Silviano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chucho Dean made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ made a substitution. Ovidio Marin replaced Wen Hai Le. A collision led to Astillero del Guayas getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Castro Rilo hit a great ball. If Marcial Silviano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcial Silviano scored 12-0 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chucho Dean, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
