The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Csaba Kormos during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Egon Sinka got free with Herberto Abreu in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. László Császár kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Herberto Abreu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Csaba Kormos in the 13th minute. György Solti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severo Hechter, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute.
