In the 4th match minute, C.A. GUAYACO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonides Cueto to maneuver through the defense. Marco Urquiza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oso Amezaga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Xayvion Lojo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agustin Pillado went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Astillero del Guayas's Xayvion Lojo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Pillado in the 9th minute of play. After 10 minutes of play, C.A. GUAYACO's Mendoza Joseph made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xayvion Lojo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 13 minutes into the match, Astillero del Guayas's goal looked a bit too open when Caicedo Berrondo came free, but Xayvion Lojo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Agustin Pillado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xayvion Lojo. Astillero del Guayas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agustin Pillado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 23 minutes in the game, Marco Urquiza fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Oso Amezaga having to interfere. Xayvion Lojo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mendoza Joseph went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. 32 minutes into the game, Agustin Pillado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Xayvion Lojo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ximun Tocos kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Mendoza Joseph notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Astillero del Guayas's Xayvion Lojo. Xayvion Lojo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Mendoza Joseph sped through Astillero del Guayas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Xayvion Lojo. In the 45th minute Gustavo Oro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oso Amezaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 minutes of play, C.A. GUAYACO's Mendoza Joseph made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xayvion Lojo was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mendoza Joseph to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, C.A. GUAYACO's Caicedo Berrondo made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xayvion Lojo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Astillero del Guayas defense, Mendoza Joseph kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xayvion Lojo. The Astillero del Guayas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xayvion Lojo should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Lucas Massey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Astillero del Guayas's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Massey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oso Amezaga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oso Amezaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Urquiza in the 61st minute of the match. Astillero del Guayas's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Caicedo Berrondo 63 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-11. Xayvion Lojo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustin Pillado, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Xayvion Lojo made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Mendoza Joseph sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as C.A. GUAYACO's Mendoza Joseph slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Xayvion Lojo. That made the score 0-13 after 74 minutes of play. C.A. GUAYACO's Sérgio Silveira was substituted for Agustin Pillado. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Caicedo Berrondo took a quick shot and it went in 0-14 without a chance for Xayvion Lojo to make any attempt to save it. In the 81st minute, C.A. GUAYACO's Mendoza Joseph dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-15. Xayvion Lojo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Caicedo Berrondo went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-16 was the resulting score. Mendoza Joseph took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xayvion Lojo. Xayvion Lojo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-17. Astillero del Guayas's Xayvion Lojo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Astillero del Guayas from getting a goal against them. Oso Amezaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Urquiza in the 93rd minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Astillero del Guayas's goal looked a bit too open when Mendoza Joseph came free, but Xayvion Lojo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over C.A. GUAYACO could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Astillero del Guayas throughout the match.
