Glenn Danzig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Ramundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute of the match, Nils-Emil Blomkvist got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kılıç Uğural was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The corner led Öz Bern SK's Doğuş Vecihi to fire away a dangerous shot which Glenn Danzig despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Öz Bern SK booed when ☠ Metal Militia ☠ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Thorwart didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristiano Ramundo in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Glenn Danzig saved ☠ Metal Militia ☠ from getting behind. Glenn Danzig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şahin Zeyyat in the 15th minute of play. When Öz Bern SK's Şahin Zeyyat in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Glenn Danzig didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristiano Ramundo went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Öz Bern SK's Cristiano Ramundo got a free kick in the 39th minute. ☠ Metal Militia ☠'s Emmanuel Heggli got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kılıç Uğural acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 48th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Emmanuel Heggli.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Şahin Zeyyat made a kick off. Alexsandro de Carvalho hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Glenn Danzig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Ramundo in the 55th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Glenn Danzig successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Glenn Danzig made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Şahin Zeyyat sent off a good shot on target. York Segatz charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed York Segatz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th minute, York Segatz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Glenn Danzig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Ramundo in the 60th minute of the match. Emmanuel Heggli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kılıç Uğural having to interfere. In the 67th minute Emmanuel Heggli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kılıç Uğural saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Cristiano Ramundo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Glenn Danzig was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. ☠ Metal Militia ☠ made a substitution. Derrick Green replaced York Segatz. When ☠ Metal Militia ☠'s Emmanuel Heggli in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doctor Lorenz in the 82nd minute of play forced Öz Bern SK's goalkeeper Kılıç Uğural to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristiano Ramundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Semail Gökdoğan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Öz Bern SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Semail Gökdoğan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Glenn Danzig breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Öz Bern SK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Öz Bern SK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
